Carnation is incredibly full of himself and only cares about his own wants or needs. He cannot stand not being in the center of attention, and will push anyone away if it means the spotlight is on him. He believes he is above everyone else to the point of perceiving himself to be godlike. He rejects any dismissal of this claim and would rather be around people who fill his ego.
There are some exceptions to this, where he finds it more entertaining to keep people who don’t like him around. It simply just means he found another love interest in his mind.
